Digamos que es la conclusión que sacas tras ver el videoclip de Eminem con la omnipresente RiRi. El vídeo es una especie de "perdón público" por lo racista,homófobo, misógino, drogadicto etc etc que ha sido Eminem desde que surgió en la música, intentando decirnos que fue todo un error y que ahora es una nueva persona, claaaaaaaaaaaaaro Eminem claaaaaroo, la cabra tira al monte majo!(tela lo que hay que hacer para vender) De cualquier modo el vídeo es muy bueno, la canción es el pelotazo de finales de año y Rihanna sale preciosa se mire por donde se mire.
That´s the conclusion after watching the videoclip of the white rapper and the omnipresent Rihanna. He tried to convince us that all the past was a mistake , then right now is a new person, more tolerant and open minded....Sure Eminem sure...:S. Could it be that, or it could be that his company wants him to take a new target, who knows haha!
Whatever, the videoclip is cool, Rihanna is superb in all ways, and yes, this is the "monster" ( XD) hit of the end of the year.

¡Por dios! ¡Que final de año!! Estas semanas están siendo impresionantes a nivel musical, desde lanzamientos inesperados, fracasos también inesperados, duetos increibles, videoclips polémicos....Wao Pero hoy las protagonistas de hoy son estas dos rubias. Desde el 2008 han sido constantes las comparaciones y los "supuestos odios" entre ellas....nada mas lejos de la realidad, o de lo que sus propios fans y la crítica internacional intenta que halla. Ayer se salieron con esta impagable actuación, una perfecta sincronía de sus voces desde luego y un momento esperadísimo en la industria musical.
What an end of the year!! Impressive! In terms of music we have seen polemic videoclips, unexpected fails of untouchable artists, album releases without announcement....and fantastic performances, like this one starring Gaga and Aguilera.
There were a "war" between them since 2008 when Gaga appeared in the public eye, but all of these polemics came from the proper fan bases or from the international press.
But in this presentation (the first time they performed together) we can see that there´s no enmity between them.

Desde luego que si ha habido una artista protagonista de este fin de semana ha sido ella...@Beyoncé. Con una estrategia de marketing simplemente PERFECTA, ha conseguido el efecto deseado....arrasar! Es más, bajo mi punto de vista, ha sido toda una visionaria con la manera de lanzar el disco, sin previo aviso, con 17 videoclips grabados ( :O) y con un hype que se ha extendido cual virus por redes sociales, radios o las propias noticias de televisión.Esto es totalmente contrario a la manera habitual que las artistas del calibre de Beyoncé lanzaban sus trabajos, previamente anunciados con hasta 1 año! Hoy me gusta mas Beyoncé que ayer....Es ambiciosa, y aunque la haya criticado 10000 veces por su actitud, hoy solo la puedo vitorear.
There´s no doubt that since last Friday there´s a protagonist in the music scene....Beyoncé. She surprised all her fans with the release of her 5th studio album in itunes the same day it was announced, something weird in a artist with the caché of Bey...However the surprise was a commercial success, it´s the fastest selling album by a female singer this year, beating Gaga, Perry, Miley, Britney....and the rest of the girls.
So the company did a great work with this strategy, a PERFECT strategy in terms of marketing. No announce, no promo, just a official release in the same day, a banner all over the web with the direct download in itunes, and a new way of seeing music, each song will have its proper video.
The hype is gettin´bigger with the days, and tomorrow it´s the official launch of the first single "XO"

Some of you will be wondering who is this guy.Well the answer is simple, this 2013 it´s the only artist with 2 number one worldwide hits and almost another one in the oven...
His name is Pharrell Williams and his work is a mix of collaborations, a proper solo career and specially a strong production and songwriting for all type of artist. Since the late 90´s has been involved in some of the greatest hits in R&B and Pop, and all of you will remember hits like "I´m a slave 4 U" by Britney Spears, produced by him and his friend Chad Hugo (who formed the 4 times grammy winners The Neptunes) of the whole production of one of the best selling albums of the last decade "The emancipation of Mimi" by Mariah Carey (which the worldwide hit "We belong together")
But more recent, this year 2013 was the great year for him by far...

He was the voice of the big "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk, a song that achieve massive success all over the world with its particular style ( a remember of the past decade) I really love it :P Ha sido la voz detrás del segundo mayor hit del año "Get Lucky" de los franceses Daft Punk, y que además de haber sido un número uno en prácticamente todos los países del mundo, es una maravilla audiovisual.
Despite of hating the song, and the similarity of "Give it to me" by the queen (and my queen) of pop Madonna and the proper Pharrell Williams, "Blurred Lines" has become the song of 2013, and guess who is behind the song? Yessss again Pharrell, it´s the only thing I like of the song...
Ok...a mi esta canción me satura y me recuerda lo injusto que fue el 2008 y el por qué no lo petó "Give it to me" de Madonna (también producida por Pharrel) pero bueno...sería de ser un estúpido no reconocer la repercusión de la canción mas exitosa del año 2013....Que cosas! los dos hits del año cantados por el mismo hombre...
Leaving the featurings, I will focus on the new hit by Pharrel, and this time with no other artists, just a cool song, a nice message and a fresh video, things that are conquering the European markets (as we can see right now in itunes worldwide). Esta me gusta más! Y dejando de lado todos los featurings, aquí vemos como se luce el artista, con una canción con mensaje positivo, un video chulo y una voz pariticular, el tema está ya arrasando en muchos mercados europeos, y lo veo como una clara apuesta por uno de los primeros hits del 2014...
There´s no doubt that the new zealand singer is the most important promise of the music for this 2013.
Her first single "Royals" (which was the protagonist of my first entry in the blog and time give me the reason of this hit) has been one of the most successful songs of the year so far, taking the 1st position in important markets like USA or UK.
However the shadow of the one-hit wonder is chasing after her...Take care Lorde, or you will be the next Carly Rae Jepsen (Call me Maybe) or Gotye (Somebody that I used to know)
But her album "Pure Heroine" has a really good quality, and there´s a chance for her to continue with the worldwide success. We´ll see.
Que este año ha habido una artista revelación que ha destacado sobre todas las demás, creo que no debería haber duda, su nombre es Lorde, es de Nueva Zelanda, e inauguró mi blog allá por Agosto, cuando vaticiné el futuro éxito de su primer single "Royals" y sí...acerté jejejej :P Tal es así que ha conseguido ser número 1 en países como Estados Unidos o Reino Unido. Pero la sombra de ser artista de un sólo éxito la persigue....pero me da en la nariz que con lo redondo que es su álbum "Pure Heroine", podría continuar con el éxito del primer single.

In these last months I´ve been listening this band quite a lot, and I´m sure they will be big in a near future. Their last single conquered me in all ways. First of all because is a cover of two of the greatest dance songs of all time "Rhytm of the night" and "Rhytm is a dancer", second, because their vocalist has a very sexy voice, and third, because of the weird video, What else???
En estos últimos meses he estado enganchado a los ingleses Bastille, y estoy casi seguro que serán bastante populares en no mucho tiempo. Su último single me ha cautivado desde la primera escucha, el por qué es fácil. Primero se trata de un cover perfecto de dos canciones míticas del dance, siguiendo con lo sensual de la voz del vocalista y acabando con un videoclip que aunque es raro, me encanta. No se le puede pedir mas....
This week was the official release of one of the most wanted albums of the year...the 8th studio album of Britney Spears, the one and only princess of pop.
The album met with mixed reviews by both public and critic. I listened the album several times since last Friday and despite of being a huge fan of Britney I have to consider the album as an inconsistent CD.
Why do I say that?
Starting with the pros, there´s a nice variety of producers and writers which helps the album to being homogenic, from Sia to Guetta or the boring Will.I.am ( blame it on him and his role as the executive producer!!!!)
Songs like "Alien", "Body Ache" or "Now That I Found you" will remain as classics of all her fans, the question is if they have potential as radio singles....but with the attitude of the lazy Britney nowadays it´s really hard to have a huge success with no promo or no presentations, it´s a shame!! but we have to deal with it....
But there´s also bad tracks in the album, something weird in a Britney´s album, and also there´s a feeling that the album was done with some hurries, and just for the purpose to sell her Vegas Tour.
However I´m happy of having the album and hope that some people will give the CD a chance.
Esta semana ha salido el esperado álbum de la princesa del pop, Britney Spears, llamado "Britney Jean". Las críticas no han sido precisamente una maravilla ni por parte de público ni crítica. Pero servidor, que ha estado escuchando el disco desde el pasado Viernes unas 20 veces, no criticaría tanto el producto final, sino una serie de aspectos que hacen que el álbum sea algo inconsistente. Para empezar, nos encontramos con una variedad enorme de compositores, productores y escritores, desde Sia a David Guetta pasando por el infumable Will.I.am (para mí el mayor culpable del no-perfecto álbum de la Spears y ser el mayor vendedor de humo de la historia de la música). Bajo mi punto de vista, el CD cuenta con canciones que serán clásicos para todos sus fans en no mucho tiempo, como "Alien" , "Body Ache" o "Now that I found you", el problema es que ahora mismo con la actitud taann trabajadora (nótese la ironía) de la Spears y el poco apoyo de las radios, veo francamente difícil que alguna de estas canciones consiga "petarlo" en los charts, y mas sabiendo que Britney ya no hace presentaciones en galas de premios, etc etc... Lo malo del disco, además del papel de productor ejecutivo del pesado-Will.I.Am, que ojalá vuelva con los Black Eyed Peas y no salga de ahí...., es que hay temas que se podrían considerar malos, sosos, metidos a presión, que estropea el producto final y que hace que haya una sensación de "disco hecho para vender un tour" (Madonna y su MDNA tienen la culpa jajaja) y hecho a toda pastilla. Aún así a mi cada día me gusta más y me gustaría que le dierais una oportunidad.
